Exclusive First Look at Eliza Parker

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

I am so thrilled to be one of the first bloggers to review the new line Eliza Parker. The line has gotten a lot of chatter on facebook and when they contacted me, I was delighted to try one of the staple pieces of their line....the Venice Dress. I'm no Fluvia (the face of Eliza Parker), but I can say I FELT like Fluvia, even though I'm a size 26/28! :)

Here's the rest of my review:

  5. The dress looks great on you. I checked out the Eliza Parker website and saw some pretty items. A bit pricey for my budget (although not as pricey as other lines I've seen - Igigi, this means you!), but still, more than I'd likely pay for a similar item elsewhere.

  6. I'm sorry thirties girl but I have to disagree with you. I would dare to say that Igigi charges less than this line. Also, in looking at the fabric it is the same polyester spandex that Igigi offers. I don't mean any harm but I think the Eliza Parker line is way overpriced for polyester. At least Igigi has sales. That is how I get most of my stuff from them. When I saw the prices on Eliza Parker I actually got excited because I thought for those prices, the fabric must be excellent quality. I was expecting to see silk, crepe, taffeta and other higher quality fabrics. I don't know about you, but as a plus size woman I am sick to death of polyester and jersey. I would love to have some beautiful fabrics in my closet instead.
