Exclusive First Look at Eliza Parker
Tuesday, June 22, 2010I am so thrilled to be one of the first bloggers to review the new line Eliza Parker. The line has gotten a lot of chatter on facebook and when they contacted me, I was delighted to try one of the staple pieces of their line....the Venice Dress. I'm no Fluvia (the face of Eliza Parker), but I can say I FELT like Fluvia, even though I'm a size 26/28! :)

ReplyDeleteThe dress looks great on you. I checked out the Eliza Parker website and saw some pretty items. A bit pricey for my budget (although not as pricey as other lines I've seen - Igigi, this means you!), but still, more than I'd likely pay for a similar item elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry thirties girl but I have to disagree with you. I would dare to say that Igigi charges less than this line. Also, in looking at the fabric it is the same polyester spandex that Igigi offers. I don't mean any harm but I think the Eliza Parker line is way overpriced for polyester. At least Igigi has sales. That is how I get most of my stuff from them. When I saw the prices on Eliza Parker I actually got excited because I thought for those prices, the fabric must be excellent quality. I was expecting to see silk, crepe, taffeta and other higher quality fabrics. I don't know about you, but as a plus size woman I am sick to death of polyester and jersey. I would love to have some beautiful fabrics in my closet instead.
