Lane Bryant Makes a Body Feel Good

Monday, September 14, 2015

To say the options were slim when I first started blogging in 2010 is definitely not an understatement. I am so grateful for the fact that I can think of at least 20 shops in one second that I love to shop at. Lane Bryant has always been one of those shops and while they definitely went through a fashion slump, I’m so glad to see they are stepping up the game. I credit that newfound focus and passion to CEO Linda Heasley who stepped into the role of leading the iconic fashion brand into a new age of fashion, but also body positivity.

I consider being body positive a lot more than just providing clothes for us fat gals. I consider a brand body positive when I see them investing a significant investment in models and campaigns that have the sole focus of empowering women who feel they don’t deserve fashion to finally say “yes I do.”

As one of the world’s largest brands, they don’t necessarily have to give a shit, but they do. I’m so proud to have partnered with them for almost 10 years now with SKORCH Magazine and my blog with campaigns like my Full Body Photo Project and more. So, when they reached out to once again put their money where their mouth is, I didn’t hesitate.

Their latest styles are seriously amazing and the best part is they make my body feel good, which in turn makes my soul feel good and in the end - that is what it’s all about.

Here are two outfits that make me smile from body to soul!

Live life with a smile baby. Much Love, Jessica

First up is my ladies’ night look. Perfect for looking fashionable and still being extremely comfortable.

Then my version of a date night outfit with the hubby. You know I love a white denim and as usual, Lane Bryant nailed it with this pair and topping it with a fab sequin top is making all my glam dreams come true!
