Break The Rules

Friday, May 06, 2016

Why is it that us plus size women feel that we have to be skinny in order to be allowed to go workout? To go wear colorful activewear? To enjoy a bike ride even if we have the extra large seat on our bike?

I want to challenge you to break the rules! You have to change your mind in order to change your world. And, if your world is one where you deny yourself a life of activity and fun because you are scared of being judged - remember that you do not have to apologize for existing by hiding in the shadows. Whether you have no fat, a little fat or a lot of fat - you are worthy and equal.

Have you overcome this challenge? Please share how below in the comments. Lets all help each other live a life of rule-breaking fearlessness.

Outfit Review
This top is very much true to size and I find that the tops with built in sports bras are ones that I should size down in at Rainbeau Curves. So for this one, I picked a size 26/28 and while I was comfortable, I think I would size down so my top is more secure....however that does mean my size 26/28 hips might battle the rollup issue... LOL - such is the life of an apple! I am not wearing a bra with this top, only supported by the built in bra and I tell you what - it does a great job!
These capris are my favorite right now because they have a little fun extra design, aren't see-through when I bend over and have the extra pocket in the waistband.

These pieces are true to size, as it all of Rainbeau Curves plus size activewear. The top is nice and roomy and I loved how long it was. These capris are one of my favorites because I love the details, the hidden pockets for keys/phone and that this design prevents any chafing at the sides, and provides cooling ventilation behind your knees. It's nice to get this kind of technology for such an incredible price!

I forgot how amazing a sports bra can be! My 44DDs are always in my Cacique Tshirt Bra - no matter what occasion, but I really did forget how great these are. This one is especially great because of the extra support built into the construction of it as well as the easy zip in front that stays zipped! Won't surprise you :). But helps you avoid the "taking the sports bra off" dance that comes after a sweaty workout....and the sprained shoulder! BWHAHHA That is a sight!
And these high tech bike shorts have a special seaming that prevents chaffing. #celebrate
